What is the Clement Street Film Mosaic Project?
It isn’t that complicated, really. We film on Clement Street and carefully put the clips together into a film mosaic on the screen.
What is the goal of the project?
Our goal is to create something that is entertaining, visually pleasing and reflects our experience enjoying the vibrant life of Clement Street and then to share it with the Clement Street community. We hope that the community will enjoy it too.
How far along is the project?
So far we have created 8 filmed mosaics. Covering the South Side of Clement Street from about 3rd avenue to 10th avenue.
What is the future for the project?
The future will include completing the entirety of Clement Street and placing the individual film mosaics together into a long (more than 30 feet) film mosaic screening.
