What is the Clement Street Film Mosaic Project?
It isn’t that complicated, really. We film on Clement Street and carefully put the clips together into a film mosaic on the screen.
What is the goal of the project?
Our goal is to create something that is entertaining, visually pleasing and reflects our experience enjoying the vibrant life of Clement Street and then to share it with the Clement Street community. We hope that the community will enjoy it too.
How far along is the project?
So far we have created 9 filmed mosaics. Covering the South Side of Clement Street from about 3rd avenue to 10th avenue.
We have held several private screenings in San Francisco to about 80 different people. We are happy to arrange a screening for organizations. Please email us at albertfilms@comcast.net to get in touch if you are interested in us coming and setting up our 9 screen Clement Street film mosaic.
What is the future for the project?
The future will include completing the entirety of Clement Street from 3rd to 10th – The North Side. This will be combined with the finished south-side and create a tunnel of film mosaics depicting both sides of Clement Street.
